The lady forcefully charged the one way fee to my card when it was paid for. Upon showing her she refused to reverse it and then after a lot of persuasion convereted the amount into a deposit. She also insisted that i by an insurance and told me that the insurance that I had pre purchased was of no use.
I think overall except the lady at the counter the experience was excellent

it was easy and quick, the price drop did not work for me since there was no price drop on what I had booked. Loved the platform
the car gearbox was very noisy going through autogear change made driving a poor experience,please inform them as not really serviced properly or inspected .

no issues just the car was not a great experience whilst travelling in it.
The total amount of purchase have been withdrawn from my credit card and after dropping the car off, an additional 60USD was withdrawn with no explanation from budget, I tried to reach the customer service and they promised to resolve the issue but nothing from their side yet !
Their prices are the cheapest available and that comes with other prices. 30 min long line of people and no cars of the type you book are part of it. Other rentals will offer you free upgrade, budget will charge you for this and give you car you dont want - in my case it was truck. Lady at the counter told me that its not too big and she is driving it her self and it got back camera for parking which is necessity in LA and that mid size SUV is too small for 3 people. When I wanted different, smaller car they offered me mustang (literally the opposite of big car). Apparently I can wait until someone return car I booked and then I can take it. I canceled my booking and went to Dollar which is very well organized. Until today Im waiting for refund from budget.
