On collection the type of car rented not available offered upgrade to salon wanted a higher car for ease of getting in and out which was unavailable.They then tried very hard to sell me extra 3rd party insurance at 14£ a day for 30days this selling pressure after a long flight I could have done without.The attitude of the staff was very poor then had to go to other terminal to pick up car I will definitely never use advantage again.I have been visiting USA for 30years and this was the worst rental company I have ever had the misfortune to book with

Should vet rental companys better

When I arrived on time to pick up my rental, Advantage did not have any cars. Instead I was told that there was a two hour "waiting list" and that they would call me when a car was available. The staff was nice during what I'm sure was a frustrating day for them, but ultimately Advantage failed at the one thing I counted on them to do: give me a car that I had reserved (and prepaid for!).

Car was filthy. Only one person working the counter and long line. Tried changing for roadside assistance which had never been agreed to or discussed.

One of the tires had 20 psi.... It freaked out when I found out about it on a highway. Please check tires before renting out!

Lots of paperwork that took a long time to process. Vehicle had noisy tires that sounded out of round. Needed new wiper blades.
