However, I hope there can be more clear and detailed pre-warnings about certain fines. Although they mentioned a 3000 THB fine for smoking or eating in the car, there were no warnings about other fines. In my case, I was fined 2500 THB for asphalt splashes on a recently paved road during rainy weather. This fine was not covered by insurance. Shouldn't there be insurance for such incidents, similar to scratch protection? Shouldn't there be pre-warnings about such fines? I feel this is somewhat arbitrary and profiteering.
