A credit card guarantee of $865 is required, only Visa is accepted, not MasterCard. Due to insufficient credit limit, I had to purchase insurance for 15 euros and put down a cash deposit of 150 euros.
I booked a Renault, but they said there were no cars available when I arrived and instead gave me a free upgrade to a Polo, which was acceptable. The office is located on the outer right side of the arrivals hall at Izmir Airport. You need to walk a few steps further to the right, as it is not together with the other car rental companies. The staff was quite friendly, and the procedures were completed quickly after I presented my documents. They tried to sell me insurance, but I mentioned I had already purchased full coverage through QEEQ, and there were no further issues.
The location of this rental company was easy to find, and there were no issues with picking up or returning the car. The staff mentioned different levels of insurance, and I was satisfied.
They will try and charge you for anything. As mentioned before, they don’t take Amex for the deposit. Make sure to take a visa credit card
