The service attitude at the return store was extremely poor. The address is 330 S Garfield Ave # 108, Alhambra, CA 91801. This store is family-owned, operated by Indians. When returning the car, we had questions about additional charges and asked them to write down the details on paper. They refused, insisting we pay first and then check the bill ourselves. While we were examining our order, the Indian man in the store suddenly checked us out before we had settled the bill. He spoke in his Indian-accented English, calling us foolish for renting a car and demanding we leave so they could conduct their business. We were very angry, so we called Avis customer service to first inquire about the billing situation to protect our credit rating, and then to file a complaint, but it was futile. I advise everyone to avoid this store.

Efficient service with no queues. The staff were very nice and upgraded me to an SUV, which was a hybrid and very fuel-efficient. The car was in excellent condition, very new and very clean.

At the Avis counter, they didn't recommend any insurance; instead, they added it directly. I bought full coverage from Zuzuche! Even though I know one is from the car rental company and the other is from a third-party insurer, the fact that I didn't need to pay anything upfront and only had to sign gave the staff an opportunity for underhanded operations. As I had to rush to the hotel after picking up the car, I didn't have time to check the documents carefully. Due to a hectic schedule and waiting for the credit card statement, I complained to Avis quite late, and they only refunded 1/4 of the amount! This was my sixth time renting from Zuzuche but the first time with Avis. The experience was extremely bad. It's not about the money; it's the lack of proper assistance! I wanna say the staff I met at the Avis counter was damn f^cking bullsh*t; he just let me sign without mentioning anything, not even a f^cking word. Since it was my first time with Avis, I thought everything would be straightforward. All I did was sign and give my credit card. It was a busy journey, and it took a few days to receive the credit card statement. I called Avis back 2 times and only got 1/4 of the amount back. This was the sixth time with Zuzuche and the first with Avis, and it was a horrible experience due to these issues.
