The service was quite standardized. The contract was sent via email, and the staff was patient and thorough in explaining any fees we had questions about.
Booking the car was fine, but returning it was extremely troublesome. Returned the car in Bergen, and the return address couldn't be directly navigated to. Additionally, there was no indication on plan 2. Spent half an hour searching around the parking lot, exceeded the time limit by 5 minutes, and almost panicked. No one answered the phone calls, and it was only after spotting the sign that I realized it was an unmanned return service. This was not explained when picking up the car.
The pickup process was confusing due to language barriers. After getting out from the 5th floor, we had to get a ticket, drive down, and insert the ticket again to exit, which took a long time. Returning the car in Molde at 5 PM was challenging due to rain and darkness. We had a hard time getting out of the airport parking lot and had to ask several people for help. Eventually, we found the Hertz parking area, but it was full. We ended up parking next to a Hertz service car and took a photo to finish the process. It was exhausting. Big companies should offer Chinese language services.
We requested for a Toyota Corolla or similar but got a pseudo-SUV (Ford Kuga) which was awesome! Pickup and drop-off were totally fuss-free and staff were really friendly.
