In reality, just being cautious or buying comprehensive insurance through the app is sufficient. The insurance sales pitch wasted a lot of time. 2. Dropoff Stage - They checked the car's condition at least three times, and after finishing, the staff huddled together and whispered. Since we had confirmed before returning the car that everything was fine, we knew there was no issue. The staff then tried to accuse us of having a smoke smell in the car and forced us to pay a 75-euro cleaning fee. This clause wasn't in the contract, but we had to hurry to catch a flight, so we paid. Overall, this car rental company operates with an intent to scam, and you might not leave unscathed.
