Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation.You must present your original driving licence with the original IDP at the counter.

Original US Driver's License

*Driver's license, passport, and IDP must be issued in the same country.

For local renters, you need to bring:

Normally We do not allow our cars to be taken beyond the domestic or international border (Province of Ontario).In order to take our vehicles out of the province of Ontario, a written agency’s authorization must be obtained. Vehicles entering the USA or other provinces are subject to a border crossing fee of 26.12 CAD/day. Vehicles taken out of renting province or crossing the border to US will be limited to 200kms/day, 1400kms/week, 3000kms/month, or a maximum of 3000kms per rental. The additional kilometer is charged at $0.20 cent/Kilometer driven during the entire rental in excess of allowance.
