Like: The gentleman who served us was great. He apologised and explained why there would be a short delay in getting our car and then was able to upgrade our model at no cost to us, for the delay. We ended up with an excellent car that made our vacation even more wonderful. When we returned the car to the downtown location, we were once again greeted and served by very pleasant and helpful staff. All in all a very good experience.

Lovely Filipina served me on pick up - we spent a while sharing some trip tips for her upcoming visit to Spain. I trusted Dollar once and, because of that, I chose them again this time - could not have done a better choice! Great car in perfect condition, great service and price - what else can you ask for? Thanks, Dollar, for allowing me to arrive to the award ceremony I was invited for thanks to my last short film, "Kenny Rei and the Spicy Ladies", as a proper star!

it took three cars to finally get what was expected...way too long for renting a top class of car

Picking up the car required waiting in line for a while as there was only one staff member. The staff recommended additional insurance, but since it only covered a limited area, I didn't accept it and just paid for a full tank of fuel. I was told I got a free upgrade to a Dodge Challenger (the staff said Charger in English), otherwise, it would have cost an additional 15 dollars per day. I was excited about the upgrade! Because this car isn't available in my home country, I wasn't too familiar with it. It turned out to be a great car, perhaps even a luxury car! I drove it smoothly for 12 days, covering over 3000 kilometers across the US and Canada. Returning the car was also smooth, with the bearded attendant giving me the all-clear in less than a minute.

The staff tried to sell us insurance, and when we refused, their attitude became very rude. We had purchased an additional driver at the time of booking, but they said this driver must be a spouse (which was not a restriction when we booked), so they charged us the fee for an additional driver (we have the receipt). I have rented cars in nearly 50 countries around the world; this is my first time renting from your company, and it was the worst experience. Of course, I will seek compensation from your company for the additional driver fee.

I had already bought full car insurance and personal insurance on the website, but they kept pushing us to buy additional coverage and wanted us to pay extra for a better car, which was quite uncomfortable.

The waiting time for picking up the car depends on the number of people in line. There's only one counter, so if there are many people, you just have to wait.

They gave me a much cheaper car than I booked... and claimed the car had snow tires to cover the price difference... However, every car actually has snow tires... No need to pay extra for them... And there's no snow tire charge on the invoice.

An Indian lady assisted us. She was very friendly and suggested some insurance options. Once I mentioned I had already bought insurance in my home country, she didn't push further. We got a fuel service package, but since we didn't use much fuel, they didn't charge us for it when we returned the car. Very considerate.

The car rental counter did not push additional paid services. There was a short wait to pick up the car (20 minutes). Following airport signs made returning the car straightforward and easy.

They didn't have the car I reserved and gave me a 7-seat Chrysler, which significantly increased my fuel costs.

I rented two cars, but only one was available because the card of the owner of one car couldn't be processed. It seemed their card machine was too old. Dollar requested a change of the primary owner, but the rental company said it wasn't possible, so we had to get a cash refund.

It took over an hour to pick up a new rental at the return point. The front desk was slow and inefficient in dealing with issues. Eventually, I got a Hyundai Venue, which was a downgrade. After spending more than an hour at the front desk, I didn't have the energy to argue further on the spot. After the rental period ended, I filed a complaint through the app. However, the rental company denied the downgrade. This is clearly a lie. In terms of vehicle positioning, length, space, and power, the Venue is a subcompact SUV. It cannot be compared to compact SUVs like the Jeep Compass, RAV4, or CRV. You can easily verify the Vehicle's category. The user experience clearly shows the difference. I rented a mid-sized sedan (Camry) from the same company using another app and was given an Elantra, again a downgrade. It seems that DOLLAR frequently downgrades vehicles. Some people might overlook a few days of downgrades, but I cannot. The description clearly stated a five-seater, with a trunk that can fit three 24-inch suitcases. I have used compact SUVs like the RAV4, and they meet this condition perfectly. However, the car I received couldn't even fit two 24-inch suitcases, and additional luggage had to be placed on the back seats. I didn't need to seat five people on this trip, but what if I had to? The car's performance was poor, with no acceleration beyond 100 km/h even with the pedal to the floor. It was infuriating to drive, and I decided to file a complaint immediately. Anyone who has driven a Venue would understand how bad it is. Be cautious with DOLLAR. I have already filed a complaint with their headquarters via email. I am very disappointed with this rental company. If you encounter any problems, filing a complaint through the rental app is basically useless. Choose wisely, choose wisely.

Service attitude was okay, but they will try to sell insurance.

The staff were very welcoming. They didn't push insurance on us but did suggest a rescue service, which we thought was useful and purchased.

Excellent service attitude and clear communication. Everything about insurance coverage was explained. Also, they upgraded us to an SUV with snow tires for free. Couldn't be better!

Overall satisfied, but the efficiency here is relatively low; waited in line for almost an hour. The staff kept recommending roadside assistance.

Overall quite satisfied, the car is very new

1. There was no inspection when picking up the car. There were two paint damages and large scratches on the display screen. I have sent photos to the customer service. 2. I had to pay over 400 CAD additionally at pickup. The receipt shows it as a charge rather than a deposit, and I am unsure what I was charged for. The staff's English was not clear, so I couldn't understand them. 3. I haven't received a refund for this charge yet, so I can't make a final judgment. 4. The actual car delivered was a Kia Cerato SUV, which isn't listed on the platform.
