They had the car delivered straight to the pier for us, but the driver was quite late. After we got off the ship we wandered around the pier for a long time and still couldn’t find him. In the end, a very kind driver from another rental company helped us call their office, tracked down the delivery driver and told us he was still on the way. We ended up waiting quite a while before the car finally showed up. The driver himself was decent overall and gave us a clear walkthrough of the car before leaving. When returning the car, because we had scraped a bus earlier, they asked me to pay 27,000 rupees and promised to send me the repair invoice the next afternoon. I still haven’t received anything yet. (I was following your customer service’s advice to pay first, then get the repair bill from them and claim it back afterwards.) The car itself was in good condition, fairly spacious, and the trunk was big enough for four suitcases (two 24-inch, one 22-inch, and one 20-inch).

We have received a small car, as booked (extremely useful for the small streets of Mauritius). We have appreciated the office of the car rental is in the airport area/no shuttle needed). Our flights were late 24h (and Qeeq announced the rental company on our behalf about the delay). Mauriconnect accepted to keep the price for us (instead of marking it as a no show). The AC was not working. The windscreen was working but couldn't throw water (damaged??) There was a weird noise on the engine. BUT, the car served its purpose and the staff was really friendly

Satisfied with the service, but you need to contact the rental company before picking up the car. Otherwise, the location can be hard to find, unlike in China where addresses are specific with designated buildings and offices. It's best to agree on the pickup location a day in advance for convenience. However, the procedures and return were quite easy and the staff were very enthusiastic. Next time, I will choose FIRST CAR RENTAL again.
