No queue for car at rental desk, friendly staff, told us the best place to fill up with fuel at the end of the rental, a very smooth collection and drop off process

I arrived at Belfast Airport at 9.20pm. I called for the shuttle to pick me up but was told that the vehicle I had hired had a blown gear box and they didn't have any other cars to offer me. They were quite blatant and put the phone down! I went to the offices in the morning. Whilst I was there I rang the number I called the previous morning. A mobile in the Managers' hand rang, but he swore he wasn't there the night before. No apologies, no ownership of the night before's incident!

A lot of dents on car but it didn’t matter as I took the hertz super cover

Car was exactly as expected, clean and good condition. Pickup was smooth although no breakdown cover offered which I thought unusual as would have liked the option.

Great little car. Would have been good to have the manual in there as took some work trying to work out how the semi-auto gearbox worked.

Thought we would be getting a corsa with air con but got a yaris with no air con. No return instructions and it took three attempts to find the return area as labelled hertz not firefly

It was fine and straightforward

Counter staff helpful. Car more spacious than we thought it would be. Comfortable car and ran smoothly. All very efficient. The power of the car engine was less good than we hoped.

Nothing could have been better. This was a marvellous experience and the price protector worked its magic and we got some money back. The booking process was smooth and efficient and we are delighted with the service and will use again.

Budget were fine

Didn't push upgrade on insurance too much as we already have an excess annual policy

Chosen car size not available, offer a minibus! As only luxury cars available and they wanted me to pay more or wait an hour. Argued it out and they found me a car. Staff were very nice, but I was late for my meetings as a result of messing about with waiting for the car.

Not very personable at the Budget desk seemed to be going through a script. Three guys on the desk so not as if they are rushed off their feet, be a bit more customer friendly.

Easy to use good experience will use again.

Massive queue at the pick up counter which really delayed my departure from the airport and plans for the evening. Seemed really slow with nothing pre-printed and only one printer which then jammed. Lady on the desk was lovely but horrible wait outweighed this. Will actively avoid Avis in the future if that’s the counter process.

The senior person on desk was a compete Ahole. Listened to him screwing a couple over -- when he tried the same with me I quickly straightened him out.

I ordered a 7 seater with 4 cases, when we arrived, we couldn’t even get out passengers and cases in the shuttle to the car hire place hence 2 x trips back and forth to the airport. The car did have 7 seats but no other space, I did ask to change the car during the rental period, but was told there were no other cars available. We were pushed to up sell extra insurance and told that our ‘protectmyexcess insurance’ wouldn’t cover bumps on private land (car parks) and given examples to get us to buy the policy, not the worst car hire, but also not the best!

Everything was spot on but not the car I ordered. The replacement was ample but still, I see no point in you offering specific car models and then they aren't available. You should offer a class of car instead.
