Advice on pick up was in correct. App and comms said to meet in the car park. The service provider was a different company name (Scandia rent) vs the one listed on the booking. So it took a number of phone calls and going to the information point at the airport to collect the car.
On the return journey we paid 175 euro to have an alternate drop off location to the pick up, but again multiple phone calls were required to coordinate.
Car was great, although engine light came on to say it had been over-filled with oil, the washer fluid light and the tyre pressure light on our last day of hire. We hadn't driven very much so presumably these things had not been checked before the car was issued to us. Otherwise, car was great - clean and the size we were expecting. Service was good at the airport as well once you had used their phone for an advisor to attend.
The pickup address and all the phone numbers provided by the platform were incorrect. How can customers pick up their cars this way? Zuzuche lacks valid information about the car rental company and cannot provide service for changing cars with other car rental companies in case of emergencies. They just said they sent an email and we have to wait for a reply. As a result, it delayed our schedule by a day.
Picking up and returning the car during working hours is very inconvenient because there's never anyone at the store! I bought full insurance and returned the car with a full tank, but they still charged me extra fees! This issue hasn't been resolved yet! The Hertz staff said: We are Finnish, you have to trust me! But I ended up being charged dozens of euros extra upon returning the car. Fortunately, I took videos and photos during both pickup and return. However, the store hasn't replied and the phone is unreachable! This is the first time I dislike a brand so much because of an experience at one location!
I must praise the service guy at Europcar in Rovaniemi. Our luggage was larger than expected, and the car we booked was too small. The staff arranged a brand-new 7-seater van for us, and it fit all the luggage for our family of five perfectly. Very satisfied!
