Very satisfied, both picking up and dropping off the car were quick and smooth. The front desk staff patiently explained the model and insurance options I had booked and asked if I needed to pay for bridge tolls and other essential questions. Besides requesting the bridge toll service, I also opted for zero-deductible insurance. Everything was quick and convenient. When returning the car, I mentioned to the front desk that I had accidentally scratched it during the rental period. After asking when and where it happened, they just had me sign a form, and that was it. This is the importance of full insurance.
Pick-up was quite fast, and the staff were nice. However, I was extremely angry about what happened after renting the car: on the third day after picking up the car, while driving from Sydney to Narooma, the vehicle was involved in a collision. That night, I couldn't reach the rental company via Zuzuche. I only got a response at 11 AM the next day! After the car was towed, the rental company didn't consider my actual situation and kept asking me to repeat the reasons and extent of the car damage over the phone!! I kept emphasizing that I had nearly ten more days of travel and hotel stays, but APEX kept being vague about providing me with another car!! The most frustrating part was when a woman claiming to be the manager asked about the damage and promised to provide another car, saying she would get back to me. By 2:30 PM with no response, I called again, only to be told sternly by another person claiming to be the manager that they wouldn't provide another car due to my driving issues!!! I felt absolutely hopeless in a foreign land, being over 100 kilometers away from other rental points!!!! I'm thoroughly disappointed with Apex Car Rentals!!!! This experience exposed their cold, heartless, and completely irresponsible attitude towards customers, which made me sick!!
The staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and informative, he was courteous and accommodating despite how busy it all was when we attended the business.

Wanted to extend the time period and was told I could have the same rate. But when putting basic insurance on it double the price. Even though I had insurance on the first booking included.
