The Indian staff there said the car we reserved needed to be transferred, and we were told to handle the process at the parking lot counter. Why did we waste an hour standing at the airport counter?! At the parking lot counter, the service was terrible. One staff member was chatting with another customer, and the overweight woman helping us was coughing continuously without wearing a mask or covering her mouth. Her attitude was also rude. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing.
The rental company is far from the airport. You must call upon arrival; otherwise, even if the shuttle arrives, you won't be able to get on. The rental company is reliable and much cheaper than international rental companies.
Tricky practices—if you're not careful, you'll be forced into buying insurance. Rental fee is over 200, but insurance costs more than 500. No display signs, no clear explanations, just a vague mention that you'll receive an email. By the time I saw the email, it was already too late. After renting cars over a dozen times, I didn't expect to stumble on this issue in Australia. The car itself was in good condition, very new with just a few thousand kilometers.

Also, the service fee for toll payment collection is $2.95 per transaction, which feels a bit excessive.
The service at the store for car pickup was decent. As for the car return, we’ll have to see. It takes a while to receive fines (e.g., speeding tickets, if any). Based on posts on Xiaohongshu, the fines can take a long time to be forwarded, which might lead to overdue penalties. Alternatively, the fine may be issued under the company’s name and then needs to be transferred to individuals, requiring an appeal process that’s very troublesome. Hopefully, the rental company could notify us via email in advance if they receive any fines.
The car looks great, but the cost is too high. First, it’s expected to consume a lot of fuel. Second, even with the most expensive insurance purchased at the store, there’s still an excess limit of 2500 AUD. When returning the car, I noticed a small scratch on the front side. The staff handling the return mentioned that the damage team would assess the cost and let me know. Waiting now for the specifics to see if it will be reasonable or not.
