Good car for our family road trip

Very satisfied

The service attitude was average, but they didn't aggressively sell insurance. The staff member we met during the return was quite friendly. He checked the exterior of the car, looked at the fuel gauge, turned off the engine, and said OK. We also took photos of the dashboard, and that concluded our car rental journey.

I recently rented a car from Hertz in Los Angeles and Seattle. They had plenty of new cars, with the one I got only having 3000+ kilometers. But when I rented from Avis in Vancouver, they had fewer cars and suggested we pay for an upgrade. The car I got had over 16000 kilometers already. The main issue was that I booked a Chrysler 200, a mid-sized car, but at pickup, the staff suggested an upgrade which I declined. They then claimed they did not have my booked model and tried to give me a small Fiat instead, saying it was a similar model. I refused and they pushed for a paid upgrade. After insisting, they finally provided a Chrysler 300. In conclusion, I am very dissatisfied with the service from their staff.

Good price and car.

Like: We were pleased that we could pick the rental vehicle up in Medicine Hat and return it in Winnipeg. EasyRent was the only agency that allowed for this option. Not sure what we would have done otherwise.
Dislike: It was a fairly expensive rental; I imagine that we were penalized because we were dropping the car in Winnipeg. Also, we were about 20 minutes past the hour on our drop off and were charged an additional $30. That didn't seem quite fair. Otherwise, we were delighted with the arrangement and appreciated the fine service.
