Is there any way i can track my deposit refund? how soon will i be able to get my money back ?

The deposit over the counter of $250 was not mentioned at the time of booking and it was a surprise for me to pay
Reply by Qeeq: Thank you for your comment on our website. Normally the deposit was blocked by pre-authorization and will be released after you returned the car in 7-15 working days. If your deposit was not refunded for a long time, please kindly send us your bank statement so we can better check for you.
When picking up the car, the actual vehicle provided was not the same as the one reserved. Additionally, upon arriving at the parking lot, there was no car in the designated spot. I returned to the counter only to find that Budget had already closed. After asking around, I learned that Budget shares operations with Avis, so I had to go to Avis and wait in line. Everyone ahead of me also had reservations but no cars, so they were sent to Avis as well. It seems better to choose a larger company for car rentals in the future.
The car we had booked was not available but we were given a better model which was very good. The only problem I had was that the car had previously suffered some exterior damage and when I asked for a damage report in order to prove that this was not caused by us they were unable/unwilling to provide this.
