1. Long waiting times, and people cut in line. 2. Signage for car pickup and paperwork locations is not clear. 3. We had already paid for the one-way rental fee on a third-party site, but were informed at the counter that we needed to pay again because the rental company does not recognize third-party payments for one-way rentals; all such fees must be paid in person. 4. The one-way rental issue delayed our car pickup, but the rental company started the rental time from when we arrived at the counter, not when we got the car (almost an hour difference), and there were no warnings about this. After returning the car, we were charged an overtime fee for being late.
Overall, a very unpleasant rental experience. Considering using Ctrip for future rentals, as it’s said to be cheaper and more convenient than the current service.
Very bad experience. I booked a Mercedes C but was not informed of any alternatives when picking up the car. I ended up with a Kia at the parking lot. In Australia and New Zealand, there were always alternatives or even upgrades. The difference this time is too great. I won't book with Zuzuche again. Beware everyone. Also, I just received the bill and was charged £51 unfairly (even though the car was checked for damages upon return and I was told the deposit would be refunded within a week).
Picked up the car at Edinburgh Waverley Station. Due to it being a central train station, there were many people, and we had to queue. It took over an hour from queuing to getting the car. The pleasant surprise was the vehicle upgrade, and the car came with a navigation system, which made driving to the Highlands smooth and effortless.
The final bill for 3 days was GBP 332, but they charged GBP 433 from my credit card. I don’t know how to claim the balance amount.
