The company is located in a corner. They will try to sell insurance and other products. When picking up the car, they will offer the less desirable cars first.
This is the only company so far that added insurance even after I declined it. I usually don't check carefully, and I've never had any unauthorized additions before, so I felt comfortable signing off. This time it was particularly annoying. Luckily, it was a short rental, and they only charged me an extra 50 CAD.
The suggested credit card linkage for tolls and fuel discounts required a pre-authorized hold on the credit card. Furthermore, the fuel discount involved an upfront service fee by the company, making the discount feel insignificant during refueling.
The car pickup process was simple and fast. The car was in good condition, making our road trip very enjoyable.
