I only inquired about whether insurance was needed and whether the car should be returned with a full tank, other than that they didn't bother me with unnecessary details, which was nice. As for the car model, the staff selects it for you (with company A, you can choose a car of the same specifications in the parking area yourself). If you have specific model requirements, you might want to ask when they confirm your order. I used to always go with company A because they had an automated pickup machine which saved dealing with staff. This time, I found out that the automated machine was shut down, and I had to wait in line to talk to the staff.

The staff tried to upsell other models and added extra insurance without informing us. The tablet screen was very small, making it difficult to understand the specialized terms in the English contract. The staff did not inform us of the additional insurance costs and kept urging us to sign. This resulted in us being overcharged more than 600 dollars for insurance. Very, very poor. Given the wrong car pick-up location and vehicle, had to queue at the counter again. Clearly supposed to get a full tank of gas, but intentionally given only half a tank and charged for a full tank.
