The lady at the front desk gave me a parking card after completing the paperwork, but the card didn't work to exit the parking lot. I tried multiple times, but it was useless. When I went back to find her, she was gone, the door was locked, and her phone was unreachable. There were no staff in the parking lot, which was underground. I was trapped for an hour and a half and couldn't get out. Finally, I found a machine, but it was broken too. After pressing a button, someone spoke, and two ladies also needed to pay. Eventually, I followed them to pay the fee, which was £43.5. Customers should not be charged for parking fees before picking up the car. It’s not just about the money, it was a nightmarish experience and very frustrating.
We picked up and dropped off the car at different locations. At the pick-up site in central London, there was only one staff member present, and there were some language barriers. Additionally, the staff was unfamiliar with the car's navigation system, which led to us getting lost. At the airport drop-off, the staff were highly professional, warm, and patient, which moved us deeply. Their work ethic was commendable. We will definitely rent from this company again next time.
