The car I actually received was in terrible condition! The left side mirror was covered in tape and looked ready to fall off, and there were several scratches on the body. Though they did point these out when I picked up the car and told me to take pictures, they still charged me 500 euros for dents that were barely visible unless you looked closely when I returned the car! Fortunately, Zuzuche helped me with the compensation, but I would still suggest everyone avoid this rental company.

The car rental experience with Sicily by Car was very good. The new car only had 800 kilometers on it. The counter service was good; there was no aggressive upselling of insurance. The return process was quick and convenient. The driving performance of the SEAT SUN was excellent, especially on the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast. The smart features were comparable to those of domestic electric cars.

It took two hours to complete the process, but they didn't try to upsell any insurance, which was nice. However, when picking up the car, I found out they gave me a manual car, and I had to go back downstairs to exchange it. The staff weren't apologetic at all and even asked if I didn't know how to drive a manual. Overall, the cost-performance ratio was okay.
