Aggressive promotion of insurance, firmly declined!

The camper van was very new, less than 30,000 kilometers. The self-drive experience was fantastic!

Overall okay, but not satisfied with the insurance coordination with the rental company

A very professional company with very convenient pick-up and drop-off process. Since it was an RV, airport pick-up and drop-off were not available, which is understandable due to RV limitations. The most surprising part was that the rental order was for a Volkswagen RV, but instead, I received a Mercedes-Benz RV. It was high-end and luxurious, totally worth it.

The staff at the counter strongly pushed the comprehensive insurance, costing a substantial extra amount. When returning the vehicle, an intern conducted the inspection and said there were dents on the side of the roof caused by tree branches, which were not covered by the insurance. The staff did not mention this point when I picked up the vehicle. Fortunately, another staff member inspected it later and did not count it as our fault, which was a relief. Nevertheless, the comprehensive insurance was not very useful when picking up the vehicle.
