The booking page indicated free cancellation, but when plans changed and I needed to cancel, I was informed there were conditions. Why not clearly state the cancellation policy when booking?
I returned the car less than 30 minutes late, but they charged me an extra $30. This is unreasonable. I can understand paying proportionally for the extra time, but this rental policy is unacceptable. I've rented cars overseas many times and never encountered this situation.
