The road signs were very unclear, causing us to arrive at the car rental company an hour and a half late. Dragging two 24-inch suitcases made it extremely difficult to find the rental company. They claimed there were no cars available due to our lateness and demanded extra money for a different car. To avoid further delays in our schedule, we agreed. After negotiating with the rental company, they agreed to refund the additional fee, but!!! After returning the car and coming back home, they charged the same amount again under a different excuse! Extremely frustrating and infuriating!
Various inexplicable additional charges. I had to spend a lot of time appealing and defending my rights after returning home to get the extra charges refunded. If consumers don't investigate carefully, are these charges just going to be taken? Even if a consumer gets their money back, they lose a significant amount of time and energy.
