When I arrived due to a delayed flight I had to pay an out of hours fee of 24.50, which was something outside of my control and was in no position to inform Surprice about.
Additionally when we got there, my car was a Kia Picanto, nothing like a fiat 500 in the sense it was about 15 years old, done 120,000 miles and had blemishes all over it.
Additionally there was no rear mirror wind screen wiper, the air con was non existent and the cigarette lighter would pull out when you tried to plug something in.
That said, the little car did alright on the island and blended in, it had a lot of charm about it (we called it Dobby) from its amusing horn to extreme lack of power, it has left a number of talking points.
The actual service eon pick up and drop off was both very polite and smooth and would probably use surprice again, just be a bit clearer on the car you're offering
Car was old and various things did not work well. Passenger seatbelt did not tension, central locking did not work, and made a noise when cornering to the right.
Worst car I have ever rented
Didn’t get met at the arrival hall barrier and had difficulty in locating pick up office.
