In my order appears Alfa Romeo Stelvio (or similar) and this means SUV type car. The claim of goldcar was they don’t recognize this order like SUV and in their company it counts like F group so we received Fiat Tipo SW with no option to change so this is not SUV and of course not similar to Alfa Romeo Stelvio class.

The Goldcar insurance applied is very high.

I was charged 40€ fee for pick-up. The office is open untill 11pm, I was at the desk at 10:55. Turned out I had to move to the external desk already. Walk is ~5m, got there at 11.02pm and printed the "line ticket". Got charged 40€ for being 2minutes late, even though I got to the airport desk on time. Staff was not helpful. Really dissapointed at the counter service. Additional mandatory charge of 3€ per day for a higway toll device - should be included in the car price since mandatory and known from the beginning. Overal, really disappointed.

Was very happy with vehicle condition as it was new car just 1400 km. At pick up counter was kind of mis guided about additional insurance stuff. It felt like they are trying to force sale additional insurance. Otherwise overall it was very good experience.

Best price car hire though with first rental discount. Very for money. Definitely recommend.

Goldcar is terrible, it will suck money out of you like a hungry leach. Trying to push services to you like crazy, they are obsessed, and if you refuse they will tell you what a terrible decision you are making and that you'll have lots of problems if you don't buy their insurance (blah blah blah) I hated it. I rented over 30 cars, so far, from various companies and always used a third party insurance and never had problems or such a bad customer experiences. Please read online more reviews about gold car and pay better more for a normal company :) The car was good though, no problems with it.
