The overall service was good. Since I was staying in Zagreb for a layover before flying back home the next day, I opted to rent a manual car for just one day for convenience. The rental company provided a car that had not been repaired after an accident, and the right door was scraped and deformed. However, both the pick-up and drop-off processes went smoothly. Kudos to the rental staff! Driving a manual car does require practice; I stalled in the city center of Zagreb and got honked at by a taxi behind me.

The car's condition was good, but the process of picking up the car was extremely slow. It took two hours before I got the car, and they insisted on waiting until our scheduled time to start the procedures.

1. The car pickup time is quite rigid; you must pick up the car at the exact time you booked. Since it's hard to predict the international flight arrival time in Zagreb, we planned to pick up the car within an hour after arrival based on flight and customs information. However, the staff made us wait an extra hour, and they were rather inflexible despite us explaining the flight and immigration issues. They insisted we adjust to their schedule. 2. The car pickup process was slow with only one of the two available counters open, which seems to be a common occurrence as the other European customers weren’t in a hurry.

The staff explained everything clearly and provided detailed instructions.
