I said I had none, then he said he would confiscate my driver’s license and I could retrieve it in Tulum. I agreed, but he asked again if I had any cash on me, to which I shook my head. Car could be with a full tank, to easy refturn after! Mex deosnt accept additional insurance from broker, so we needed to buy it at MEX office again!

They have to improve a little bit their customer service at the counter
