Most of the rental cars seem to have plates starting with AI, so locals will generally know it's a rental. No need to worry about driving speed or yielding.
Initially, they gave us a large and new Citroën SUV. However, since we had to drive on mountain roads, we requested a smaller car. The store switched it to an Opel for free. The car was in excellent condition, and we were very satisfied.
