Overall pretty good. I booked a Yaris Cross Hybrid and got the same model. The mileage was around 10,000 km, and the car was in good condition. When picking up the car, the staff was in the store. The contract clearly marked any existing scratches on the vehicle, so if you find scratches not listed in the contract during your inspection, you can just take photos with your phone (as phone photos have timestamps to serve as evidence). Returning the car was also fast—you simply park the car and hand over the keys. During the pickup process, the staff only asked once if I needed insurance, and they didn’t try to push it further when I declined. One thing to note is that the staff will confirm your email and phone number with you. If you booked through QEEQ, the email and phone provided will belong to QEEQ, but don't worry—any issues will be communicated through the platform.
The car pickup was quite fast, with no extra fees. The car model is not large; the trunk can hold two carry-on suitcases and one 28-inch suitcase. If you have a lot of luggage, it can only accommodate two people. If the luggage is moderate, three people should be fine.
The staff were friendly, but the card they brought couldn't complete the authorization. I had to go back home to get another card, which wasted a lot of time. It's best to be well prepared in advance.
Promised a Mercedes but got a Kia instead. Staff insisted it was the same category, but the difference is huge! The drop-off point was terrible, didn't see a single staff member. Had to park the car myself and return the keys to a store 300 meters away, and had to queue with others returning their cars. No luggage carts around the parking area either. Thankfully, I checked in my luggage at the airport first before returning the car, otherwise Hertz would have made it a nightmare!
The staff at the Bergen rental office were quite nice, and we didn't face any issues when returning the car. However, the next afternoon we received an email notifying us of multiple unknown damages to the car. During the four days of rental, there were no accidents or collisions at all. Receiving such a notice made us feel deceived. We emailed them the next day, but a week passed without any response. After returning to Taiwan, we emailed the service offices in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark, and only then did we receive a reply saying, "We have received your email." There was no information on how they would handle the situation. This is terrible!
