I reconfirmed the day before the pick up the hour I would be picking up the car, but when I got there, there was no car, I had to wait 2 hours to finally get my car
The staff I encountered in this location (e 22nd st, New York) were so nice and helpful.. we arrived an hour early to collect the car but it was ready for us without delay or any hassle. The lady’s at the reception desk were good fun and we most helpful when we collected it as were the staff on our return.
Pick up process was quite slow as card machine did not work. Had to use other persons card and add additional driver fee which was not expected. Staff were friendly but whole process took longer than I have experienced in the past.
However the person checking the car back in was unnecessarily rude. Did not have rental agreement to hand on arrival so he started to raise his voice to us and barking that it was impossible to rent without one. Suggested that we had not been given to us that morning accused us of lying. Really not what was expected when the rest of the staff were so pleasant. The staff member in the office said it was fine that we did not have it and perhaps we hadnt been given it - mistakes happen. There is a way to speak to people and the person checking the car did not know how - zero customer service skills.

J’ai loué un SUV Large, une fois arrivé dans l’agence on a voulu me donner un van-monospace en m'expliquer qu’il était mieux ce qui est faut car il était environ 800$ de moins. Ensuite ils ont fait venir à ma demande un SUV qui est arrivé au bout d’1h15, ça n’était pas la gamme louée et de plus il était trop petit pour 7 passagers et leurs bagages. Il a fallut que l’on nous emmène dans une autre agence pour finalement obtenir un GMC Yukon XL conforme à ma location. Plus de 3h perdue mis au total avec le stress qui va avec.
