We purchased insurance when booking the car online, but upon arrival at the destination, we were charged again for additional insurance without notifying us! This means we paid once to ZuzuCar, and then Eutopacar added another insurance fee of 30 Euros per day without our knowledge. This is a trap!!!
I rented a car in France and encountered a car malfunction in Germany. I had to call France to contact the international center and then find local towing services.
The car was parked at the hotel, and I gave the towing address as the hotel. After explaining the situation to the front desk, I went back to my room to wait. The tow truck driver drove around the area near the hotel, didn't see my car with its hazard lights on, and just left without asking at the hotel front desk. As a result, I had to move the car to the hotel entrance, turn on the hazard lights, and wait by the roadside for over half an hour.
The city had only one office, and it happened to be a public holiday in Germany. After the car was towed, I had to go to the office the next day to get another car. The local staff only learned about the car problem when I arrived and took the car for repair. The office was small and couldn’t arrange a direct replacement, so I had to wait an hour for the repair. If the car couldn’t be fixed, I might have had to wait another hour or more for a replacement from another location.
