About Apex:9.0/10
Everything associated with our rental, from the booking, the staff at the pick up/drop off, the vehicle, use of vehicle, to drop off was excellent -EXCEPT - the instructions as to where to pick up the courtesy van at Cairns International Airport - should have read "turn right out of main door Terminal 1 and proceed towards domestic terminal for courtesy van - pick up approx half way between International and Domestic Terminals" - words to that effect. Now we know where the pick up area is, it is fine, but for first timers the instructions on the Easy Rent a car app are vague.

The Airport Shuttle service was prompt at both pick-up and drop-off ... and very convenient.

Just a note, however ...
QEEK.com are based in Dublin, Ireland, therefore bookings made through them in any country other than Ireland will incur a currency conversion fee from your credit card issuer.
It's not a huge amount, but in my case it added 2.95% to the cost.
For full and fair disclosure, it would be good if this were mentioned somewhere on the Website ... which otherwise gives the appearance of being "local".

Couldn't have had a better experience. The staff were lovely, the car was perfect and the price was excellent. I was there during a very difficult time (death of my Mother) and I was treated with such calm respect. I'm a firm fan of Apex now, and will hire from them for all future needs.

Easiest car rental I've had, great price and the staff at Apex excellent. They did not try to push extras on you and additional driver at no extra cost.

Like: This is the second time we've rented off you - an enjoyable experience. Dislike: Shame you won't pick up and drop off from the International Terminal. We travel with 2 large golf bags, 2 others bags and hand luggage so it would be nice to be collected at the terminal rather than having to navigate our way across to the pickup area.
