CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON GREEN MOTION AT BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT, BHX

I have booked with Green Motion twice now - never again. The only rental company to ask for proof of address document - drivers licence is not enough. Staff are surly and do not seem to care. Phone numbers are supplied - but do not work or are never answered. Never again.

Excellent company

Pickup was delayed by 1hr, counter staff not good at customer service. Rest was fine, best rates so far received.

They always upsell!

They give a car with demages which are not included in paper work . Must be very carefull.

Overall it was good but drop off location was not shown properly on map. No one picked call too.

I did not pick the car up as the counter staff did not know where the car was and expected it to take around 45mins to find and bring the car over to the airport.

Good value for money, good cars, staff demotivated and generally unhelpful. They usuallly don't pick up their phone.

I have used Green Motion a number of times and have always had a good experience bar picking up the car which always seems to take a while. However during this rental period I was left feeling very disappointed and angry with Green Motion. Upon leaving the car, I was told it was too dirty (I had used the car on a couple of country roads and the motorway) and as it’s winter and it has been raining there is dirt on the roads so the car had mud splashes and mud debris from the pushchair inside the car. I was told that due to this the car would need to be valeted at a cost of £96. I had a flight to catch so could not take the car to clean it myself. Had I been made aware that the car needs to be returned clean, I would have cleaned it myself. Never have I been told that a car I have used is too dirty. I was gob smacked and pissed off at the charge. So much so that I will not use this company again.

Car condition is good, no complaints, but staff are really rude and have very terrbile attitude to customers.

The staff are friendly, but had to wait for quiet long. I am not disappointed this time as they offered me a free upgrade. Probably my booked car category was not available..

Taking too long to release the credit back to credit card. Bank says it’s up to the company and green motion keep saying it’s up to your bank . Greenmotion says it takes up to 7 days to release the credit back. I don’t understand the delay

Mauvaise indications sur la réservation QEEQ pour trouver le bureau Greenmotion (il faut prendre un train en direction de la gare, pas un bus comme indiqué dans la réservation). Nous avions payé pour une réservation “full to full” pour le plein de carburant. GM nous a informe que cela n existait pas chez eux et ont imposé un “same to same”. Voiture réservée type Opel Crossland X ou equiv (volume de coffre 410l). Voiture fournie par GM était une Kia Stonic (volume de coffre 352l) qui était donc beaucoup plus petite que ce qui était prévu. Extérieur du véhicule sale au moment de la location (l intérieur était OK).

Greenmotion are not customer friendly. They will never accompany any requests to satisfy customer preferences, even if you are a returning customer.

Price protector saved me about 10% of the original hire amount. I am always satisfied with Easyrentcars.com
