Great service, good car! A little dated but worked fine throughout the trip. Amazing gas mileage! A bit tricky to find the center upon return. Follow signs, not GPS.

No waiting, good service.

The neighboring Dollar counter had a long queue, while Thrifty had no line at all. They are the same company, and the price for convertibles is the same. We booked a Mustang but were given the latest model Camaro instead. The navigation system inside was Hertz's, which this company might not have, so they probably borrowed it from someone else. It was quite bothersome to fit large luggage in a convertible. For the two of us, we ended up placing three bags on the second row and closing the roof, then fitting another one in the trunk.

The rental service staff were very friendly and patient. The car we rented was in great condition, very new, and the interior was clean. The rental and return procedures were simple and quick.

Overall service was good. The procedures were easy.

Very slow, constantly trying to upsell

Chris from Thrift Honolulu was very friendly and upgraded my car to a new Jeep Wrangler when he found out its my honeymoon.

Customer service was good, but the persistent upselling was unpleasant. The agent suggested our car was too small and we should upgrade, but we knew for sure the car we booked was large enough. When we saw the car, it indeed had plenty of room for our two large suitcases and a stroller.

The waiting time was long. No one was there to explain anything during car pick-up. We had to install the safety seat ourselves. The whole process seemed chaotic.

The staff informed us that they don't even have the Suburban model and gave us a rather old Conqueror. They said if we want to change cars we have to call and check ourselves, and only if there are available cars can we switch. They won't notify us as soon as a car becomes available.

Fix the GPS, refund for its use would be appreciated

They said the wait for the return would be 5-10 minutes, but we ended up waiting 15-20 minutes. The first car wasn't even available, which almost made us miss our flight. When picking up the car, they tried to sell us various insurances, which was unpleasant.

The car had 39,000 miles and looked it. The wiper blades needed to be replaced and we ran out of windshield wiper fluid on day 2. The check-in took very long considering we didn't have to wait to be served by an agent.
