Friendly customer service who took great concern about the distance that the vehicle would be travelling given the weather conditions and upgraded to an all wheel drive vehicle. Thankyou Thrifty!
I arrived at Thrifty around 9pm on Friday and didn't receive my vehicle until after 2 am Saturday morning. I had booked a pickup due to all the large luggage we would be returning with but received a Ford Explorer instead. I will have to return to California to pickup more luggage we had to leave behind as a result of not getting the pickup we had booked. The staff did not provide any details on why it took so long other than to tell us they were operating with a skeleton crew. On a busy Friday night??!! Further when we called to ask if we could swap out the Ford Explorer we were told there was one in Santa Barbara, 60 miles from our location but as it turned out, that Thrifty location no longer existed.
Counter staff was not helpful at all, very aggressive and did not answer any of my questions. She was very un polite and charged me over the price for the agreed price without any clarification and when I asked first she ignored and then the 2nd time she answered me very aggressively and she said how would I know in a very aggressive way.
Also for the security deposit, she charged me way above the amount that was specified.
Conclusion : this is my first and last time to deal with Thrifty because of this person.
About QEEQ:10.0/10
It’s an easy app to use and very much recommended to anyone looking to book a rental car, very competitive prices.
“A distinctly average car hire experience, made easier with Qeeq”
About Thrifty:6.0/10
The staff member who gave me the vehicle was relatively unbothered about customer service and just went through the motions. Often mumbling through terms and conditions and in particular any additional damage waivers, despite me taking out a full policy through QEEQ so the thrifty policy was not needed.
Very disappointed that Tesla not available! The excuse Hertz gave is arbitrarily wrong.
Should take Tesla off the orders if they have sold them all.
Highly recommend the polestar, if a Tesla is not available. Prefer a Tesla
