CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON GOLDCAR IN ISTANBUL

I would like yo say that goldcar company has terrible customers. They didn't help enough. Their responsibility was awful

The worst experience ever. Advice you to stick with well known companies.

The leasing company was treated very badly and was delayed in the delivery of the car was deducted the amount of an increase from the leasing company has been stolen from the cashier card I hope you investigate the matter in order to take my right has been deducted about 430$

They haven't been helpful at all. Waisted a lot of time and money. They try to rob you of with extra insurance etc. Will never use them again.

I rented a mini car 3 Doors but the GoldCar gave me a midium or economy Car and they Charged me twice for full insurance.

There are no staff in the office when the car is delivered Delay in re deposit

this is horrible company especially the workers do not assures you about safety of company. When We asked the worker that Can We trust this company he says I DO NOT KNOW !!!! I definitely do not recomend this company.

The car was not available, I have to wait for 2 hours with my family airport . Gold car can’t provide upgrade as well due to unavailability. Had to choose from other provider which costed 3 times

The car is perfect, but sales people are not. They will try to convince you to pay extra for insurance which is not mentioned in the app, they will till you that wr will give you free diesel car if you pay more for insurance which I had the diesel anyway. Also they will deduct more by fining you 140 TR if the car is not clean, 200 TR if the tank is not full. These fines they will not mention it to you, they will give you 6 pages contract in Turkish to sign and you are in a hurry and you will not spend time to translate it so you will sign it. So my advice, read the contract carefully, fill up the tank from the airport, there is patrol pump in the entrance of parking which i didnt know about. And try to clean it before you give them the car. Maybe there are more excuses that i didnt experience with them, so becareful.

The counter stuff was very good. I had to pay a little more because my car was available. The car was supposed to be full in fuel, but it was not (milage to go was 850km) When i gave back I filled it (it showed 950 km to go)

Things went fine and did not take long time. Staff are helpful and friendly. I believe that the car rental companies should explain more about types of insurance coverage (The meaning and the degree and level of coverage)..

They ask for high deposit 2500 TL Or pay 100 extra insurance Usually company charge 750tl for deposit

There is an important point, Thant is the insurance was made by the reservation is through third party, that means if any accident happen the custome will pay to gold car then AXA insurance company will refund the payment to the customer, (Even I Made Full Insurance Booking) i think it's better when i make full insurance booking to be direct, anyway thanks god i didn't make an accident, everything else was great, Thanks Easyrentcars,

Easyrentcars was a good experience. But did not like the idea of being forced to purchase full insurance by GoldCar agent when I know for sure it was optional. However, I did not have a choice but to purchase it or forfeit my prepayment to Easyrentcars.com
