From all Terminals, after collecting your baggage, exit and follow "Rental car shuttle" signs to catch the shuttle stop, take the bus to Rental Car Center. Shuttles are provided by the San Diego Airport and run every 15-20 minutes, 24 hours a day.

Drop-off Instructions

    Extremely bad. The car I booked was suddenly unavailable without any explanation. They acted very arrogant, as if they didn't care. Avis next door was much better; they had the Suburban we needed available on-site. Never trusting Hertz again, it's terrible.

    The staff was unprofessional. They added highway fees, child seat fees, and a second driver fee during pickup. However, the receipt did not include the child seat. Later, when we went to the store, they said we had canceled the highway fee. The experience was very poor. The car's front right side was damaged, and we were not informed. Luckily, we discovered it ourselves, documented it, and it was not blamed on us in the end.
