Although we were told that we could return the car after working hours, the garage was closed, causing us significant trouble in the middle of the night. I followed the instructions to return the car and received a bill with no additional charges, but my credit card was repeatedly charged at midnight for two consecutive days without any explanation or invoice. I have no idea what the charges are for, and neither Hertz nor the car rental platform have responded after a week! It feels extremely risky to authorize my credit card to them! The car was in good condition, but how can this unauthorized charge issue be resolved?
