i made a mistake when i booked online to indicate a pickup time and it reverted to 12 noon,i arrived there at 845 and when he noticed the mistake he told me he had no cars to give me ,except a top of the line with all bells and whistles for only 10.00euro more a day for 8 day's when i explained to him that the 2 times before i rented from then it did not pose a problem his answer was THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM and than told me further that the car i had reserved would be available in about 3 hours and could wait in the public seating in front of their office ,i sat there for 2 hours WAS NOT IMPRESSED

This is the second similar car I have hired and the spec on the car is low. It is a full size car but has minimal extras that would be typical for a car of that class. There was no speed sensitive cruise control as an example. I hired a volve S60 earlier and it had extras that would be typical for the car type but the Mercedes didn’t.

The Schiphol branch is better than Europe Car. The staff at Europecar were indifferent. Alamo and Enterprise are actually the same company, felt like I got a good deal. I rented an Audi A3 but got a Golf instead. The space was more than sufficient, and the car was fairly new and clean with just over 15,000 kilometers. It was very comfortable to drive. Over 10 days, I drove a total of 3,200 kilometers and spent 2,600 yuan on fuel. Gas prices in Germany and the Netherlands were quite high, over 2 units, but in France and Switzerland, they were significantly cheaper, at just over 1 unit. It's truly fascinating.

Initially, we went to a small counter on the first floor of the airport where several companies were represented, but there was only one person, so we had to wait in line forever. Later, the desk staff told us that if we were Alamo customers, we could go directly to the car pick-up point to handle everything. At first, we didn’t understand where the pick-up point was and spent a long time searching outside the airport. We even asked a police officer for help, and the officer eventually took me back to the desk to ask the staff members, and that's when we figured it out. On the bright side, we got a very positive impression of Dutch police—thumbs up!

No upselling at all. However, I rented a BMW, paid for a BMW, but received a Suzuki. When I requested a replacement, they replied that they never had BMW X1s. If they don't have it, why is this model an option? Is this an issue with the rental company or QEEQ?
