Pick-up Instructions

"Upon arrival to Miami International Airport, please follow the signs to the Rental Car Center. You will be guided to the Miami Mover Train that will take you from the terminal to the Rental Center. Once there, please follow the sign to the Off-Airport Shuttle pick up area located just outside the doors. Please find Bus stop # 1 and look for our shuttle labeled with the Green Motion sign. You will have a short (3-5 minute) ride to our office. If any assistance is required, please call (786) 352-3197."

it's not possible to call green motion for airport pick up. I called and waited 2.5hours with the intention of letting them know that we are arriving late but no one picked up the phone. No one picked up the phone either when I call for pick up at airport. We just have to wait at the airport for a bus to come around. This could prove detrimental if we were to arrive late at night. I told counter staff about this issue but they were not interested.

The employees don't speak Chinese, there are charges for pickup and drop-off, and the rental shop is not in the Miami Airport car rental center. You also need to buy a toll pass at the store. I bought comprehensive insurance on the rental platform, but the rental company still required me to buy another insurance, resulting in higher costs. When returning the car, it was an elder who was not very strict. I was worried about getting charged for the sand I got in the car from the beach, so I spent $15 to clean it at a car wash, which later seemed unnecessary. Overall, it was okay, and my credit card deposit was fully refunded.

Although Green Motion is located outside the airport, the rental fee is relatively cheap. When the tire alarm went off at night, they replaced the car without asking many questions. This experience was quite good and worth recommending.
