In the case of electric vehicles, it will be Your responsibility to check that recharging devices are available and compatible in the countries in which You plan to travel. Drivers will be subject to cross border fees and must purchase additional mandatory insurance at the rental desk. Please contact the local rental desk for further information. Abroad (rented in France and travel abroad) : covered but a fix package fee will be charged in case of towing : 300€ The driver has the possibility to subscribe to an insurance called the EMS ( 10€/day - Max 30 days) to avoid the towing package in case of a breakdown.

What an incredibly wonderful experience! When we arrived to pick up the car, the lady at the counter realized that the car that we had booked was much too small for the four of us plus luggage. She was extremely nice and helpful in finding a solution for us which she did and in less than 20 minutes, we had an amazing car and were on our way. I was impressed by the level of service and of the friendliness and efficiency of the lady at the counter who took care of me. Because of her, I am now a lifetime customer of Europcar!

The return process was a little unclear as I was asked to sign an electronic device but not told what I was signing for. Also still not seen if my deposit has been refunded. At pick up was advised of a massive excess if I didn't purchase further cover. I have annual cover so declined

I came 3.5 hours earlier than planned. They offered a car at an extra of 70€ a day or wait until my time. I waited the 3.5 hours. They gave me the car that they were going to charge me 70€. This is not a great service from Europecar. Also the full insurance was very expensive. 35€ per day. This should not be the case.

The first car they tried to give us was very unclean inside with what looked like flakes of skin everywhere. They also made us wait half an hour because we had arrived half an hour early. The eventual car which we received did not have a lot of the damage which the car had, properly listed on the form. They were unwilling to either look at the damage or change the form.
