Average. You can't rush things in France. I rented for the Alfa Romeo, but they said it wasn’t available and gave me a Toyota instead, which was disappointing!
Our automatic order was forcibly changed to a manual due to the claim that the driving license was less than three years old. After much negotiation, we were downgraded to an automatic Peugeot 208 the next day.

I think it’s a really vile practice of goldcar to force you to buy their insurance online (there’s no other way to secure the booking online) then brazenly declare when you go to collect the car that the insurance you HAVE to buy is useless and will not cover you. I picked their cheapest cover and just bought my own (for about £12) but you could see the disappointment on the lady’s face when she couldn’t extort an extra £100 from me. If they’re going to use such money grubbing tactics why not just charge more for the rental? They really should be taken to court. I’m also still waiting for my credit card refund.
I rented a compact SUV, a Tiguan, but they gave me a small SUV, a Toyota CH-R. They told me it was the same category, but when I returned the car, I noticed from the rental brochure that cars in the same category as the Tiguan are actually the Ford Escape or Audi Q5. This is deceptive to consumers, and we had to squeeze five people into this car the entire trip. Additionally, when I rented the car, I asked the counter staff if I could return the car to a different location for free (Charles Train Station in the city center), and they said yes. However, when I returned the car, they charged me 88 euros for returning it to a different location. Very frustrating!
Notre réservation s est globalement bien passée, mais nous avons encore eu une vente forcée soit disant Obligatoire,mais que nous n avons pas retrouvé spécifiée dans notre contrat: l obligation de payer 27euros pour soit disant avoir la flexibilité de rendre le réservoir non plein (une facturation de l essence éventuelle à remettre serait en plus retirée de la caution la restitution du vehicule).
Nous avons bien eu une Twingo,pas de surclassement. Nous n avons jamais eu une voiture si petite toutefois.
The car listing showed Standard Crossover, Peugeot 3008 or similar. But the actual car was a Toyota CHR which is much smaller both in terms of seating capacity and luggage. And the navigation system was faulty.
Both car pickup and return went smoothly, with no deductions so far. The deposit was refunded to my credit card within a few days. Very satisfied.
During pickup, the salesperson will try to sell you insurance, but if you show them the printed QEEQ insurance notice, they won't insist.
The website allowed us to return the car at 10:30 PM local time, but when we arrived at the return location a bit after 7 PM, it was already closed. The key drop box was sealed off too. In the end, we had no choice but to park the car in front of the return location and throw the keys into the store. Such an incident caused us significant inconvenience and frustration. Very disappointed, absolutely poor service, terrible, terrible, terrible!
The amount due at the store differed from the amount stated in the order (this was not due to any forced upselling of insurance). After negotiation and a phone call, it was corrected to the order amount. Not bad.
Budget/Avis were amazing with both the collection and returning of the vehicle, The vehicle was great! It was a pleasure doing business with them.

The booking process was great, and all was as confirmed when collecting the vehicle. The price was also great. It was a pleasure doing business with Easyrentcars and I will definitely use them again.
Firts of all we have a huge problem because Gold car litetally robbed us. I need you solve my rental because they charged us 10 times more of what se have reserved at my credit card.
Planning to file a complaint after returning home. Online car rental had already been paid in full, including airport tax, but at Marseille airport, they charged an additional 34 euros. The online contract was for a Renault, but without notifying us, they switched to a Volvo compact model and charged an extra 50 euros. In total, they overcharged us by 84 euros. Additionally, over 100 euros was frozen on our credit card and has not been returned.
