Terrible experience. Both pickup and drop-off were troublesome. The deposit was charged to the credit card instead of pre-authorization, and it's been a month without a refund.
After arriving at the airport, no one was there holding a sign to pick us up. Before our departure, someone added us on WeChat, but after arrival, they didn't answer WeChat calls. It took 10 minutes for someone to respond, saying they were on their way and needed 20 minutes. In the end, we waited 40 minutes. The car pickup experience was poor.
I booked a 2023 model car, but they gave me one with 191,479 kilometers on it. What's worse, the car had no parking sensors, the Bluetooth screen was broken, and when I asked the staff on site if there were any other cars available, they said there weren't! We had no choice but to accept this car. The shop completely failed to provide the model specified in the booking. The reason I chose this store and this model at that price was because the order confirmed it was a 2023 model!
The efficiency is too low - 30 minutes to pick up the car and 10 minutes to return it. For T2 departures, you need to allow at least an hour for returning the car, as train services are infrequent and it takes half an hour to reach T1.
Refunding the deposit is really problematic. Other companies use pre-authorization, but this one insists on charging the credit card. It's better to avoid this car rental company.
I found out that picking up the car after 5 PM incurs a charge of 150 MYR. I was only 5 minutes late, at 5:05 PM, but they still insisted on charging me. I feel extremely angry. Firstly, I was just 5 minutes late. Secondly, the fee is very unreasonable. It feels like they are trying to make money off situations like this.
