This is the first ever bad experience i had when i return the car to ASIA CAR. when i was arrived at the airport and calling the staff come over to collect the car but called them 5 times nobody pick up the phone and 20 minutes later one staff pickup the phone with her low tone voice can`t even hear what she talking about .finnally she came over to the car and i told her i have a tight schedules and i haven`t return the gasoline to FUll level.and i said i can paid the sum of (HALF TANK) gasoline here, it just only take RM 50 to RM 70 in everage, but she said i have to paid Rm 130 in total as a penalty. I have not get any decriptiuon from the staff of the penalty in gasoline before i departure .
Staff was really helpful and responsive. Also proactively reminded customers on liabilities so that it’s clear if an incident happens. However the condition of the car dampens the positive experience.
Terrible experience. I notified the car rental company one day in advance to extend the rental because I couldn't return the car on time the next day. The company didn't discuss it reasonably and directly threatened to report the car missing if it wasn't returned on time.
First of all, it didn't match the description. The store is not in the airport; none of the car rental companies at the airport are this one. We had to call for the car to be delivered, and the person had a heavy accent. There was no sign as claimed. We scheduled the return for 7:20, but upon pick-up, they said 7:30. When returning, they asked us to park in a lot and gave us a card for parking, demanding an extra 20 MYR (I never encountered a car rental return that required us to pay for parking, and there was no mention of a return service fee). We parked at 7:35, and they claimed we were late, saying we should have returned the car at 7:00. Secondly, they didn't inform us that they provided a toll card, so we bought and recharged our own. Thirdly, we didn't eat durians in the car, we only ate at the stalls. It seems like they're just trying to charge us extra. Such an unreliable and non-compliant company; they recorded our credit card information, making us worried about potential fraud. Be cautious when choosing. We regret trying to save some money with this company, leading to a lot of worries afterward.
The service was excellent. Due to a flight delay, the car was waiting right at the airport entrance. When we were an hour early for the return, they were immediately ready. Returning the car at the airport was also very smooth. The service was great.
The time it took to pick up the car at the office was too long. The vehicle was old and in poor condition, with many minor damages and scratches unaddressed. It was particularly noisy when driving.
When picking up the car in Penang, it was through Europcar's agent, and there was complete deception involved. I rented a 2023 Bezza model, but they tried to give me a very old car, at least five years old, with over 100,000 kilometers on it. They claimed their cars are always under five years old. I told them I had booked a 2023 model, which is less than a year old. They argued that even a car with 100,000 kilometers could be less than a year old.
I had to constantly file complaints, wait over 4 hours, and return to the rental location before they finally gave me a newer car with just over 10,000 kilometers. Their goal was clearly to deceive renters by providing an older car at a lower rental cost, even though I booked the more expensive 2023 model. This is outright cheating passengers and renters.
