There were hidden charges when paying at the store and they were not clearly highlighted. I was charged an extra 30 euros for a day. It's more reliable to pay in advance.

Pick up informative and easy going. Staff very friendly. Drop off straight forward.

Car was dirty, smelt of cigarettes, had a broken rear wiper and tank was only 80% full. Issues noted by staff (who were polite), but no compensation

Citer is a subsidiary of Enterprise. In Grenoble, the reception area is shared with Enterprise, so it took a while to find it initially. We returned the car on a Sunday evening at 6 PM and no staff were on duty. We had to use the self-service return, but the parking lot was full and it took an hour to find a spot. Additionally, there was a 1000 euro pre-authorization which took nearly 10 days to release after returning the car, which seems a bit too long. Overall, we were satisfied. We booked a Citroën C4 or equivalent and got a Toyota Auris hybrid. Though its power was lacking, it had a fuel consumption of 5 liters per 100 kilometers, making it a cost-effective choice.

The process is very simple, but it has been a week and the pre-authorization deposit still hasn’t been cancelled.

Overall service was good, but I didn't understand why my global card didn't work there. It took more than an hour to sort it out before finally being able to take the car using another method. The car's condition was quite good.

Below expectation, numerous over-priced extras and were in poor condition. Wanted to sell numerous insurances as 'poor cover' on contract taken
