Had to wait a long time as there was a bomb threat at the airport earlier so everything was delayed. The staff was nice and answered all my questions. Would have appreciated some recompense for the delay like an upgrade or a discount to be honest.
About QEEQ:8.0/10
Quick booking no issues, appreciate that they take AMEX which is my preferred method of payment. The one dollar freeze is also convenient.
The staff tried to charge us 100 PLN for “early pick up” when the amount around £13 was showing on our booking. He recalculated it to 73 PLN after I questioned it
When picking up the car, my credit card had an issue, and the staff was very impatient as I tried to resolve it. This was despite the fact that we had waited an hour for the office to open. The car had just enough fuel to reach a gas station, which made it difficult to return with the same amount of fuel, likely a tactic to earn extra money. Additionally, there was no phone holder or backup camera in the car. However, the scenery in Poland is beautiful and the highways are very fast. I was driving at 140 km/h and still overtaken often.
“Never booking a rental with QEEQ or PANEK again!”
About Panek:4.0/10
Just do yourself a favour and never book car rentals with Panek unless you're ready to purchase their hefty insurance package. Their staff acts like they're doing you a favour by renting you the car.
Fortunately, I documented the car’s condition with a video upon pickup. This turned out to be crucial, as I was later quoted an absurd £1,600 for the same damages that were already present at the time of pick up.
The worst experience whatsoever.
About QEEQ:7.0/10
QEEQ is a decent booking platform overall, but there’s significant room for improvement when it comes to their customer service. I encountered a frustrating experience trying to explain that the car I received was a downgrade from the one I had actually booked. Even after providing clear evidence with the category and pricing options, I struggled to get them to acknowledge the issue. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts, I ultimately gave up and had to settle for the car I was given.
Picked up the car from a store near Warsaw Old Town and returned it at the airport. Due to unclear airport signs, it took a lot of time. The rental experience was very smooth overall, and the staff guided us directly to the car.
In addition to credit and debit cards, you can now pay for online car rentals with cryptocurrency! Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are accepted. Curious about how long a Bitcoin transaction takes or how to pay with Bitcoin? Read our FAQs for more details.
