Service could be more friendly and polite.

We almost paid double the price. They added extra insurance and refueling services that we didn't need. Luckily, we checked the bill before going through security and noticed the amount was far off from our reservation. Since RentACar website had no consultation option, we went to the counter and explained the situation. The staff was helpful and canceled the extra charges. We were fortunate! The counter service advised us to always check our contract before taking the car. We couldn't relax for a moment; if we had noticed this back in our country, it would have been impossible to resolve.

The counter asked for a translated driver's license, typically required for international tourists. However, self-service car pickup was available at the machine. Last year, I had to fill out a complex form, but this time self-service pickup was completed in less than three minutes! Alamo retained my previous information.

At the store, they mainly tried to sell me insurance, and there was some attitude after I refused. Additionally, they charged me for a full tank of gas at the time of return (even though it was supposed to be returned full) and claimed it was included in the prepaid contract. However, they still directly charged my credit card. In hindsight, I should have refilled it before returning, but the gas cost they charged was as if the tank was completely empty. So, don't believe them if they say gas costs more near the return location.

Excellent and quick service -no queue which was a bonus after the long ,long delays in getting through passport checks. A good selection of vans to choose from . Booked full to full but changed at desk to return empty- probably cost me as you forget fuel is so cheap in USA. I also took a child seat at desk and fact I had paid for a 15 seater van with 8 passengers just felt it a bit of a rip off having to pay for just one child seat.
