depressing agent as I walk in. Grumpy agent despite my efforts to be cheerful. The agent talk in short sentences in heavy accent in whisper. He appeared to be annoyed the whole time. I feel like we had disturbed him for coming in. Never offer a smile from beginning to end. Horrible service!
Return car agent move super slow again not cheerful or friendly although his demeanor was slightly better than the check out agent. I get a sense that Fox rent a car agents are lazy, hate their job and does not like customers.

Finding the pick up location was easy enough although I was surprised at how far away it was from the airport. When we arrived the person we dealt with initially told us there were no jeeps available even though we had ordered a Mustang/Dodge Charger or similar via the QEEQ app. Eventually we were told that we could take a Dodge after a short wait whilst the agent went off to check. Then we were told that Fox Rentals don’t recognise our full premium insurance that was paid for using the QEEQ app!! Not sure if this was a ploy to force us to buy their insurance but we did not - not a good experience!
The Car was great and the drop off in LA was easy and done within a couple of mins.

Would suggest improving rental companies acceptance of using 3rd party premium insurance providers such as the AXA policy offered by QEEQ. I don’t know why Fox refused to accept this but it’s very frustrating and so unnecessary. We basically had to sign a form to say we would not be using their insurance and taking all the risk.

I am feeling ripped off because the excuse for the high cost of renting a car was because of a shortage of vehicles compared to the demand. But the car lot was full of cars both at pickup and drop off. So the shortage seems to be no loner the case. So fox and other companies are keeping the high rental charges artificially high now. That is my perception, and why I rated it a 2.

No complaints about qeeq, other than the price shown by qeeq site was lower than the fox confirmation, so we were not sure what the real cost was going to be. So I called qeeq, and the agent explained the difference.
Car was not the Jeep I requested, but a Kia Sportage, 70,000 miles? Car had dents, scratches, seats had many stains, plus right rear tire needed air everyday.. Worst car I ever rented. Shuttle from Denver Airport to Fox was a horror show,, not a direct route.
The counter staff was very helpful. The car that we originally supposed to rent had a strong smell like a dog/pet had been in the SUV although it looked clean.I have animal allergy and is very sensitive to it that triggers an asthma attack. The staff was understanding of the situation and gave us a different rental.
The other thing that I disagree on is that although we paid by credit card, a $500.00 security deposit was charged which I think is too much.
