Great example of how easy it should be

When I went to pick up the car in the morning, I was greeted by a tall, dark-haired gentleman at the front desk on the left. Because I don't speak English, I had to use a translation device to communicate. He was very patient and even came out to the street to help me check the issues I mentioned. I'm very grateful for his help. When returning the car and handing over the keys at the front desk, a shorter gentleman asked if I had found their parking spot, noting that it could be hard to find. He was very warm and polite, and I appreciate their help!

The staff were very friendly and patient. They clearly explained the terms and rules, provided a map to collect the car, and confirmed twice that we had the parking lot exit card. They also explained the insurance issues very clearly. During the car inspection, they marked any issues on the car.

Budget charged me refueling even though I opted for pre-paid fuel which required no refueling when returning car. I wrote in to Budget, case no: KMM2060088V18784L0KM to enquire and was informed that the extra amount of about AUD$300 was due to refueling charge. I then explained that I was not required to fill up and provided the rental document and rental brochure as evidence. Budget did not reply and further requests for clarification were not responded to as well.
